June Stitch Fix

June Stitch Fix

I so love #stitchfix, I wish I had the amazing idea of this service.

I was VERY pleased with this box and I kept 4 of the 5 items.

The only item I sent back was that awful blue dress…..the fabric and style

of the dress was so not me, I didn’t even try it on.

here is a closer look….that green number is an elongated blazer, the a super cute white top

with a peep hole at the back of the next, followed by that super girly maxi dress…which by the way

was the PERFECT length for my short height.

I love jeans…I would wear them every day if I could and these were no exception, along a

little more on the pricey side but the quality and fit were just amazing.

isn’t the zipper detail so cute?IMG_0266

here is how my pieces were styled…I can’t wait to get use from

that blazer!

My May #stitchfix came in and I have to say I was a little bit disappointed…

I was really excited at first because of that amazing red/coral purse but then I

wasn’t as excited about the other pieces….

here is a closer look:

I kept the purse and the navy top

I loved the skirt until I put it on….it just fit me BAD

that floral number was just baddddd and I mean bad! I do not like the design

of the fabric and I just couldn’t get passed it. My stylist let me know how to

style the piece but I couldn’t get over the fabric and it was a bit out of my price range.

The other top was just okay – I wasn’t a fan of the pattern and it was too similar

to the navy striped topt.

here is how my stylist styled this fixIMG_0144

a close up of the purse which I love

I’ve been really lucky my last few boxes but I was hit with a bit of disappointment for this month with this box, with only keeping 2 items. I asked my stylist for a pair ankle length black dress pants to wear to work (pictured in the middle) but these just fit a bit too snug for my comfort to wear to work and still look professionally so they had to go. The next item that didn’t work was the blue, net-see through type sweater to the left of the pants. The color and fit was fine it was just a piece of clothing I know that I really wouldn’t wear often so I said ‘no’. The next item that was a no-go was the flannel shirt. I love the fabric and the buttons (which you can’t see) but this shirt just fit me so bad, it was was to boxy for me. Sorry flannel shirt.

I loved the floral shirt and it had great shoulder detail (see below) and the cardigan was just so adorable and too good to pass up.
