Do you like using Method cleaning products? I have to admit I’m a huge fan of these products for cleaning my home. I love their granite cleaner and everyday wood cleaner as well. Today I will be showing you their Almond Squirt + Mop wood floor cleaner. You can find Method products at Target and the Home Depot, or online of course.

I love this stuff. I have wood floors throughout my whole home. I vacuum my wood floors about 2-3 times a week and I like to use my steam cleaner in conjunction with  Method Squirt+Mop about once a week. I steam and use the Squirt+Mop at the same time. Also, I love the almond scent of this product too.

Shall we check some before’s and afters?

Pretty big difference isn’t it? I took the after picture the following day after steaming/mopping the floor. Best part, this product is non-toxic and biodegradable. So if you have kids or pets or both this is a great and SAFE product!

Spring Cleaning: Clean Out the Cabinet

Spring Cleaning: Clean Out the Cabinet

Hello all! Last week I shared with you my zero cost pantry cleaning and my homemade household cleaner. Have you  been spring cleaning yet? I’m in full force to get through the whole interior of the house and waiting on the weather to tackle the outside. If you take one task at a time it shouldn’t be an overwhelming process. I tend to stick to one type of task before moving onto the next. After cleaning up my pantry I wanted to clean out one cabinet at a time in my kitchen. Like cleaning out the pantry, I would empty out everything from the cabinet and get rid of anything that was expired or unused that could be donated. Each cabinet in my kitchen took less than 10 minutes, for a total of about 30 minutes in total for the whole kitchen.

Let’s see what one of my cabinets looked like:

This is one of my most used cabinets, beside the pantry. It is looked next to my stove so I have all of my spices and such. It can become unorganized pretty quickly. By following the same steps when I cleaned out  my pantry I was able to achieve a organized cabinet.

I feel so much better now that everything has it’s place and I’m able to SEE everything. In case your wondering I do put the majority of my spices in the Swivel Store Organizer and I love it. I probably should have two!

Spring Cleaning: The Pantry

I love when I get in the cleaning and organization mood. Don’t you?? Usually when I get in these moods I go at it full force and generally don’t stop. I was like that this past weekend. I was putting something in the pantry and then I stopped and looked, it was a complete mess. Every few months I generally take everything out of the pantry and just re-organize and straighten everything up. Well, it was time do that again. Since it’s Spring I think it counts as Spring Cleaning too.

I cleaned and organized the pantry at ZERO COST and in less than 15 minutes. I think everyone has time for an extra 15 minutes?? Right? Let’s see what this mess looked like before:

My pantry is really deep and really big which is great for storage but if things start to get messy, well you can loose stuff in there. The first thing I did was take everything out of the pantry. I also took the time to organize everything by categories and at the same time getting rid of anything that had expired.

The next step was to clean the pantry using my homemade cleaner for a fresh start and then by putting everything back into the pantry.

I can actually see what I have now and I was able to find my extra bottle of lime juice that I was looking for earlier in the week! Now it looks like I have plenty more room for groceries!
