My Beauty Must Have’s

This is the time of year when I review some of my favorite beauty products. I also take pictures and detailed notes (names, colors, etc) of my favorite things so that the husband can stock my Christmas stocking with some beauty products.
Today I’m going to share with you some of my favorite items that I use just about every single day. I don’t think it’s fair to show you things that I like but haven’t tried. All these items are currently in my bathroom and I feel perfectly at ease to recommend any of these products to you. Also, if you missed my post about Vaseline, you can read it here.
I’m going to start with my number one favorite item:
Psssst Dry Shampoo is my favorite dry shampoo. I wash my hair every other day, sometimes I can go one day long (weekends!). I’ve tried many different types of brands, including Dove and Treseme. I found that my hair and scalp got used to the other brands and felt that after a few uses I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I’ve been using Psssst for about 2 years now and I don’t have anything bad to say about it. The only thing is not a lot of stores carry this brand so I’m always searching high and low for this. Bed, Bath & Beyond does carry a travel sized can which is pretty AWESOME!. I usually resort to buying these in bulk, about 5 or 6 cans at a time. If you aren’t happy with your Dry Shampoo I highly suggest getting this brand.
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is amazing!!! I use this mainly in the Spring/Summer months. You can get this in different shades to best compliment you skin tone. It goes on very easily and does  not streak at all. It add some great coverage to your legs (hides veins) and if your looking for a tanner look it does that too. It says that it is water resistant and it really is. When I take my shower and the water hits my legs it does not come off until I lather up some soap! Such an amazing product!
Sephora Bronzer in Aruba is probably the best bronzer I have used. I’ve been using this lovely bronzer for about 4 years. The color I get is Aruba and it goes perfectly with my skin whether I have a tan or not. I’m always begging asking nicely to have this in my Christmas stocking each year.
Wen: Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner is one of my favorite products. I was using Wen for about a year and a half, up until my wedding in September 2012. I tried other scents from Wen but I felt that the Sweet Almond Mint worked best with my hair type. The only thing I noticed after I used Wen for a while was that it became hard for my hair to hold a curl. I usually never have to use hair spray when I curl my hair and I found that I was using hair spray but the curls would go limp. I guess it made my hair a little bit too soft. I still recommend this product but I only use it about 2 or 3 times a month.
Organic Doctor Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner is a fairly new product that I have been using on my hair. I get these from Vitamin World. I have to say I’m loving how my hair feels and looks using this Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair also feels stronger too. If your looking to try something new, I recommend trying these two out!
Maybelline Great Lash mascara (in black) is a mascara that I’ve been using for a long time. If I’m not putting effort in make-up for the day, there is one thing I won’t go without and that is mascara! I’ve tried so many different kinds and this is always a winner in my book and is very affordable!
Estee Lauder: More than Black mascara is my number one favorite mascara. My mother has always used this mascara. I love the Maybelline BUT this is just the best! It’s super expensive though and I go through mascara so much so I don’t often splurge on this product however, I will always accept it as a gift, haha. This mascara goes on seamlessly, there are no chunks, my eye lashes seem even longer and thicker.
Mark Cosmetics eye shadows are my go-to eye shadows. If you haven’t been introduced to Mark Cosmetics (an Avon brand) get familiar with them NOW! I often get tired of my eye shadows and I like to play around with them so using less expensive eye shadows is the way to go! Mark also sells really great cases to hold your eye shadows so you can easily switch them out. These are a must if you love changing up your eye shadow every day!
